Show Filipino and Porto Rican Workmen Break a Contract San Francisco, April 7. Filipino and Porto Rican laborers, brought here from Hawaii under cantract to go to-Alaska to work in the fish canneries, can-neries, refused to carry out their agreement when they arrived on the steamer Korea today- Thex- wero met at the dock by a Filipino, who told them they were not. receiving fair treatment. They refused to heed the counter persuasions of the agents of the ennneries. The laborers, L'Gi in number, had been brought here by two Chinese labor agents at a cost of about $3,-000. $3,-000.
