Show uu OUTING OF S. F. SHOP EMPLOYES Preparations are being made for the first annual outing of the Federation Federa-tion of Shop Employees of this city. The celebration is to be held at Lagoon La-goon park on next Saturday, July 29, and the arrangement committee haB issued an announcement to the effect that all railroad men, their relatives and friends are welcomed to join the shop employees of the Harriman lines la this first big outing. More than $200 in cash and merchandise mer-chandise has been donated by the merchants of this city and the federation fede-ration wishes at this time to extend Its heartiest thanks to those who so kindly assisted in this manner. Thye ; prizes will be awarded for various contest!, among which are running, Jumping, vaulting, nail driving, wood sawing and various other events for ladles and gentlemen. The committee has succeeded in securing a very low rate for this excursion ex-cursion and tickets may be obtained from the proper committee or at the postofflce drug stores. An invitation has been extended to the Oregon Short Line employees of Salt Lake and Pocatello to join in the celebration. celebra-tion.
