Show Cache Dairy Association Reelect Officers John H. Schenk, Bishop of College Col-lege ward, state legislator and a prominent agricultural leader in the county, was re-elected president presi-dent of the Cache Valley Dairy association at their annual meeting meet-ing held last week. Bishop Schenk has served the association for the past six years as its head. He has been instrumental instru-mental in directing several new projects and initiating various new policies for the dairy gruop during this time. Other officers elected were Aaron P. Leishman of Wellsville, vice president; M. C. Reeder, Hyde Park, secretary-treasurer; A. W Chambers, Smithfield, and Mo.se Christofferson, Cornish, members of the executive board. Tne association members voted to continue the scale off on butterfat but-terfat amounting to two cents per pound, and to carry on operation oper-ation of the association's cheese procersing plant at Amalga. Appropriation Ap-propriation of funds to continue working capital was ;.pproved and an intensive drive to secure ! more members was outlined. The organization expressed favor fa-vor for the state and national sanitation program, and voted to purchase defense bonds with a portion of the group's capital. |
