Show Lewiston Man r ouna Dead John Emil Larsen, 72, for 30 years a resident of Lewiston, was found dead Wednesday morning near a neighbor's home. He had died of a heart attack. Mr.Lar-sen Mr.Lar-sen was complaining of ailing on Tuesday. He went out early Wed nesday with his shovel to tend to irrigation water. Deceased was born in Vinfgokir Sweden, August 26, 18'67. He had been a resident of the United States for 4 7 years. He was an elder in the Lewiston First ward and was married in the Logan temple. His widow survives, also three cousins in Sweden. Services being -arranged by Lindquist mortuary of Logan will be held in the Lewiston First ward chapel today at 2 p. m. with burial in the Lewiston came tery. Lewiston Race Date Announced Dr. J. M. Bernhisel, general chairman of Lewiston Race and Stampede celebration, has announced an-nounced that Lewiston will celebrate cele-brate the annual Race and Stampede Stam-pede day, July 23 and 24. And also commemorate a Home Coming Com-ing at the same time it being 70 years since the first homesteaders home-steaders came to Lewiston. The committee has secured the Silver State Attraction. They furnished fur-nished the entertainment at our last years celebration. Every thing looks favorable for a very fine celebration at Lewiston this year. |
