Show .Wear A Poppy Tomorrow Legion and Auxiliary rehabilitation rehabilita-tion and welfare funds. All of the money contributed will go into these funds, the Auxiliary workers serving without pay. Poppy contributions form an important im-portant part of the funds which support the vast humanitarian efforts of the Legion and Auxiliary Aux-iliary for the disabled veterans, and children of the dead and disabled dis-abled of both wars. America's dead of two wars will be honored tomorrow when millions of Americans will wear red poppies as a symbol of re-membrancee re-membrancee and tribute. Here, as in other cities thru-out thru-out the country, women of the American Legion Auxiliary will be on the streets at an early hour with baskets of poppies. The poppies have been made by disabled war veterans at Salt Lake City, who have been working at their beds and in the hospital work room during the winter and spring. This occupation has help-1 ed them pass the long hospital j days pleasantly, has enabled them to earn money and has been valuable valu-able in promoting recovery. While distributing the memorial memor-ial flowers, the Auxiliary women will receive contributions for the More than 13,000,000 poppies were distributed by the Auxiliary last year and the number worn tomorrow is expected " to be substantially sub-stantially larger. The local Auxiliary Aux-iliary unit is prepared to supply a poppy to everyone in the city, and believes there will be few who will fail to honor the war dead and aid living war victims by wearing the little red flower of remembrance tomorrow. |
