Prices on all Foods Grocers should report on any item whose cost price to the merchant exceeds the ceiling price, and the ponel has the duty of making adjustments ad-justments to prevent merchants from suffering losses under the system. Shoppers were requested to report any price violation, sending send-ing with their complaint the sales slip for the article purchased, the name of the store, and the date of purchase. Considering cases of price violations viola-tions on rayon hose, the panel suggested that several Logan merchants mer-chants acquaint themselves with price ceilings on the product and adjust their prices accordingly. Discussing a complaint on bacon prices, the panel voted to inform all markets of the panel price on legal procedure for butchers who must pay above ceiling prices for pork and warned that the only meat wholesale is to register a complaint with the panel. A case of a violation in a restaurant res-taurant and two cases of violation in clothing prices were held over for a later hearing. A new set of ceiling prices covering cov-ering all foods, which went into effect Monday, will be supplied immediately to all Cache county grocery stores, the Cache county price control panel has announced. Grocery stores will be classified in four groups, according to their size and volume of business, and may charge up to the ceiling price for their group on any commodity, the panel said. The ceiling price lists should be posted prominently in stores, the panel instructed, so shoppers may check commodity prices against office of price administration administra-tion ceiling prices. The public will be supplied information on the price ceilings, so items may be checked. A women's publicity and education educa-tion committee to organize a larger group of persons who will serve as coordinators between shoppers, merchants and the price panel, was set up at the regular w-eekly panel meeting.
