Show CACHE COUNTY FILLS RED CROSS QUOTA That Cache county people are doing everything in their power to assist with the present emergency is evidenced in thai fact that they have gone "over their quota" in the Emergency Red Cross Roll Call Drive conductd last week. According to H. J. Hatch, vice president and general manager of the First Security Bank who had direct charge of the drive, a total of 8,417.25 had been collected col-lected late Monday evening, with a few wards and towns, yet to report. Cache county's quota was $7,000. The total amount, less 15 per cent, which is retained by the local chapter, will be sent to region headquarters in San Francisco, California immediately. Assisting Mr. Hatch with the drive were Adrian Hatch, vice chairman, Mrs. Paul M. Dunn, in charge of the office, with Mrs. William Clark as secretary. Dr. J. Morris Godfrey directed activities in northern Cache Valley and Principal H. R. Adams, of the South Cache high school in the south end of the valley. Mrs. David Burgoyne had charge of the smaller towns. Henry R. Hurren, cashier of the Cache Valley bank was in charge of the Logan City drive. |
