Show Mining Convention Will be Held in Malt Lake Mining Engineers and large operators oper-ators numbering approximately &rM from all parts of tiie United States and some foreign countries will attend at-tend the convention of American Institute In-stitute of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers in Salt Lake from August 31 to September 4. During the session, ses-sion, several papers will be read which will be of local interest which will include "Leaching in Place," at the Ohio Copper Co.'s Mine which will be read by Frank Cameron, also "Slhovel Operations at Bingha.n Utah Copper Co., which will be reau by H. C. Goodrich, Chief engineer ol the Utah Copper Co. On Tua-iiay next, a party will leave the Oregon Short Line depot, headed for Bingham Bing-ham in a special train where the party ! will be taken to the open cut operations opera-tions of the Utah Copper Mine, they will also visit the Magna and Arthur plants of the Utah Copper Co. |
