city council of price utah definition OF TERMS section I 1 the word vord person as lined used in this ordin ordinance anLe shall hhall lie e construed as including individuals co partnerships associations ind corporations the word ord milk shall include whole milk and ream except where the more limited terms aro are used with nith specific nanning LICENSE AND inspection section 2 no person shall sell milk except for manufacturing ur posco posea within the city of price without first obtaining a license ae as harein pir provided restaurants hotels or public eating houses auses shall conform to the require requirements menti of this ordinance but shall not lot bo be required to take out a license to sell tell or distribute milk all licenses issue tinder under thi thip ordinance shall be for not inere than one ear and shall expire the first day of june unless sooner revoked no such license shall be transferable except upon recommendation of f the city baird of health and approved by ilic the city council section 3 any person desiring a license to sell milk in the vity ity bif if price shall file with tb the city pity recorder a written application addressed to the city council un on a blank furnished b the city the city rec recorder 4 er shall present all nit such applications to the city coonc council il together with a report from the board i health stating that the applicant has complied with mith the requirements of ilits ordinance and s a fit and proper person to receive such a license such application shall set forth with reasonable ela exactness etuess the name and place of residence of the applicant the location or place from which the applicant obtains or is to obtain ts milk and if the applicant is not a producer pro lucer of milk then the name and aad address of the person or persona persons from whom he obtains or is to obtain milk for sale or distribution and if haid applicant is a producer of milk tl th lh af jl cows in his dairy cause nil all dairies pasteurizing plants and other places where milk intended for sale in the city of price utah is li produced or handled to ba bo inspected for tho the purpose of determining whether such places arc are equipped and operated as required by this ordinance refusal to permit such inspection shall be sufficient icier t cause for refusing or revoking such license section 5 the city board of health shall have authority to prohibit the sale of milk for human consumption which has not been produced or handled in accordance with t fly he provisions of this ordinance milk found in the possession of aay a ay iy persons to sell milk in the city of puce filee utah shall be considered as intended for sale in the city bf price utah STANDARDS CLASSES AND LABELS section 6 milk sold in in the city of price utah shall be th the e whole fresh clean lacteal secretion obtained by the complete milking of one or more healthy cows properly fed and kept exe excluding that obtained obtain cc with fifteen days before and five days after cal caking or such longer period ae as may be necessary to render the milk practically free it shall contain not less than 3 25 per cent natural milk fat and am otherwise conform with the state laws required by the state otate dairy and food department section 7 all milk sold as milk in the I 1 ity of price utah A 01 be one of tho the following classes raw or pasteurized section 8 raw milk shall be milk from cows free from tuberculosis as determined by alnut 1 1 test tuberculin teats tests shall be made not less than once each year by the licensed or by a representative of the state board of health said tuberculin tests arc are to be paid for by the person or persons producing milk section 9 the city board of health shall be notified of addition ot of caw to the herd or herds owned by licensee belling selling raw milk or to the herd or he ds from which they obtain the their 1 ir milk and no milk shall he be sold from such cows until they have we been tuberculin tested as herein provided ded section 10 raw milk shall conform to the standards specified in section 6 G and to all other regulations apply able to raw milk and time of milking section 16 milk must not be kept or stored in an stable or in in any room used for sleeping or domestic purposes nor in unclean or r rusty cans section 17 the water shall be so located constructed and managed that it will provide water of a bab e sanitary quality section 18 producers who retail milk shall have bave a milk room aich which shall be wed nied solely for the cooling separating bottling and storing morin of mik end and the operations incident thereto section 19 milk rooms shall hive tight walls and ceilings cei linga aad d ball be provided with sufficient window any purpose other than containing milk or milk product milk bottles and cans shall be thoroughly thoro ugly rinsed with clean cleall water later immediately after being emptied section 29 no diny eurizer euri zed milk shall be promptly cooled to a it temperature of 50 degrees fahrenheit or below and shall be held at or below 50 degrees fahrenheit until delivered deliver od to consumer section 33 no application for a license to sell pasteurized milk shall be recommended by the city board of health to the council for approval or shall such license be granted by the tile council unless th the
