| Show get acquainted day held last friday at morgan school by sally thurston on friday get ae acquainted Q day at the morgan schools was held it was very successful with approximately parents attending at 1015 1045 a program was held in the auditorium for the parents and the high school students to begin the program the PTA P TA presented a one act play entitled high pressure area the play was enacted by vella veila la lamb mb as is sally gaylene rogers as ruth sally thurston as sallys mother and gordon olsen as sallys sally s eatn er the parents of 0 sally trusted her very much and let her do most ot of the things she wanted to do ruths parents want her to do anything sally and ruth were invited to go to a party at a roadhouse by a group of 0 older people they wanted very much to go but sally decided to tell her parents and ask their advice sallys parents talked lover over the situation and finally told her they would rather she stayed home sally who was promised a trip i to chicago became angry and told her parents she was going a anyway on the night ot of the party sallys mother gave her the ticket to chicago and the two girls decided to stay home the play depleted depicted a true to life situation in which the problem ot of parent and child were studied rather carefully the contrast of two family situations presented a good insight into the young peoples reactions to parents control after tho the play mr braegger conducted a panel consisting of i natel rose nose jane mckinnon david I 1 porter and wayne they discussed the play and told how bow sallys parents were right in what they did alda at tile the conclusion of the panel a short pep rally was conducted by the cheerleaders many of the parents had no idea what really went on oil during one of the assemblies at the high school |
