Show utah solons with party vote 84 washington congressional delegation has supported the republican party on 84 of all roll call votes to date during the cur rent session ot of the congress this tabulation was released tuesday by congressional quarterly weekly nonpartisan non partisan research publication sen arthur V watkins led the delegation with a party voting record of 92 ile he voted with the majority of GOP fenbers members on GG 66 of 73 senate roll calls missed four votes and voted against its his party twice sen wallace F bennett tallied 90 ile he supported the party on 66 of the votes missed five and also joined the opposition just twice in 1953 sen bennett led the delegation with 93 sen watkins scored 87 last wear in the house only 33 roll calls were registered rep william A dawson voted 25 times with the jhc times with the democrats all and missed two votes tor for a 76 compared with 89 party support last year rep douglas R stringfellow voted with the GOP on 21 of the 31 3 roll calls joined the democrats three times and missed nine votes for a 61 compared with 87 in 1953 meanwhile sen bennett said NA expected the current session t to 0 end pretty close to the july 3 31 1 target date announced by GOP leadership er ln the senate 1 |
