Show men retired at cement plant charles dili bill W nielsen mill foreman at the ideal cement plant retired dec 31 1951 mr Niel nielsene sens first employment began at devils slide during construction of the old plant in march 1907 dill bill left the employ of the company to enter business for himself in sept 1909 returning sept 31 1917 and continuing until his retirement ile he was vas a kiln burner until 1920 1929 finhen ben he became mill foreman mr aix nielsen and his wife were honored guests a a party part Y sponsored by the plant supervisors at greycliff Grey cliff lodge in ogden canyon the evening of dec 27 1951 when a gruen 21 jewel watch was presented to hlin him by his fellow supervisors and aad officer personnel and a lovely corsage was given to mrs Nl elsea bill have any special plans tor for the future he and tirs mrs nielsen have two daughters and three sons all of whom are married one son willard S nielsen Is construction foreman and grant is assistant chemist at the plant david lynn brooks mill foreman man also retired on dee dec 31 1951 at devils slide lynn came to ideal as a repairman oct 13 and was promoted to mill foreman in fit 1925 ile he has accepted a call to serve as a missionary naly for tile the latter latter day saints church and expects to serve two years in the great lakes mission lynn was also to have been honored at the baity pat ty held for mr niel sen on dee dec 27 but was unable to attend however he was presented with a piece of luggage as a token of esteem from his coworkers just beaole his departure to his new field of labor mr brooks who had the misfortune to lose his wife several years ago could always be found in the company of some of his grandchildren of whom he is very fond i lynn has four daughters and onea son eon all ajl married I 1 to both of these men all of us at the devils slide and the other ideal plants extend our best wishes for many happy years of retire i ment taken from the ideal ce ment mixer |
