Show large crowd attends circus on sunday the circus came to town sunday afternoon and though many children seeing their first circus were thrilled with the animals and acts the oldsters were more or less disappointed in much ol of the performance for mance although an exceptionally large crowd was in attend attendance aneg it was noticeable that only part of the program was performed and with the exception of the bouncing elephant and lion acts the performers who may have had much talent failed to show mile much h enthusiasm in their work it was a typical small circus where the price of admission was only the beginning but this is tin understandable when one considers the tact fact that an elephant eats three times limes as much hay as a horse and that expenses in a performance of this tin s type are terrific the veterans of foreign wars sponsors of the circus extend their thanks through commander george pratt tor for the cooperation of county and city officials carlos dark clark and alva dearden |
