Show general rules of morgan fair given prices price s of admission fire are reduced every year a few weeks before th the e opening of the morgan county fair each family receives through the mall mail it a copy of the premium book containing the rules and regulations ions of the fair the dally daily program and a classified list of entries to be judged this years fair will be held on august 30 and 31 quite often in tho eagerness to road read of the particular entry persons are interested in they overlook reading the general rules of the fair and wonder why some entries are disqualified competition la is open only to those who reside in morgan county all agricultural exhibits must have been produced in morgan during the 1951 season it if entered in competition the fair personnel with the aid of the police will use every pro caution to care tor for all property under its charge but it must be understood that they will assume no responsibility tor for injuries or loss from any cause in all departments the judge will be instructed to award the prize he thinks the article merits it if the article does not merit first prize he be may make a second and third award this will apply ess esi specially ally in classes where there is no competition under no circumstances will privileges ot of a questionable nature or any demoralizing tendency be sold or tolerated on the fair grounds the price of 0 admission to the exhibition each day and evening will be as follows I 1 adults season adults ilal ly y admission 75 cents children 10 to 15 years ot of age season ticket 40 cents children dally daily admission 25 cents children under 10 years of age no admission charge each person will be required to show chow a ticket each time he or she may enter the fair grounds tickets are not transfer rable premium money will be paid at the office of the secretary as soon as awards are made the following entry fees and charges in the livestock department will be made horse department I 1 per entry 50 cents cattle 1 per entry 50 cents swine per entry I 50 cents sheep per entry 50 cents and poultry per entry 25 cents entry fees will not be applied toward the purchase ot of exhibitors tickets as has been the case in past years |
