| Show short time left lef t for training under G I 1 bill only a few ew days remain in which veterans can apply for education or training under tho the service mens alens readjustment act according to word received by lee rollins supervisor of veterans training in ili agriculture ri at the morgan high school from veterans administration officials in ili salt lake city after july 25 1951 no more at applications will be received by the veterans administration nor will any veteran already in training be allowed to change his course of study from one field to another it may be remotely possible pos siEle for veterans to change from on the tann farin training to college in the same field of study however this is not certain and should not be depended upon it may be possible for veterans to take exten extension slon courses from a college and thus hold their entitlement tit until they can take full time training said mr rollins provided both are in the same field of study veterans who are on missions and have entitlement left may use it after july 25 1951 provided they apply immediately upon returning from their missions mr air rollins further reports that veterans called back into the service who still have entitlement left should apply immediately upon being 1 9 released in order to use the re rest t of it one further exception Is noted that Is that veterans who were discharged after july 25 1947 have tour four years from that date dale before they must make application for education or training |
