| Show SHERIFF FINDS IS STOLEN CARS sheriff bernard dahlquist had a merry time thursday night straighter straightening ift out a bishop a local merchant and a feed store man when they excitedly reported that their cars had been stolen the bishop and the merchant attended a meeting in the stake tabernacle and each left his keys heys in his car which happened to lo be of the same make the colors however were of slightly different shades one being blue and the other green the bishop among the last to leave the meeting house was flab when he discovered his car was gone he confiscated the lone car standing in front of the church and proceeded to hunt up lip the sheriff who in jurn turn quickly got on the trail of the missing vehicle the merchant in a hurry to get to the ball game in the meantime had jumped into what he thought was his car and by now was thoroughly enjoying the game when the sheriff appeared on the scene after fully explaining the whys ghys and wherefores everyone concerned was made happy by the return of their own cars A little later a local feed man aroused the sheriff to report his car had been stolen but the sheriff weary of stolen cars had had bad his eye peeled for such and had noticed the feed mans car parked opposite his place of business wearily our local guardian of the peace asked the feed man to look across the street and he would find his car exactly where he had parked it so everyone was happy but t the he sheriff who wishes drivers would take the keys out of their cars upon leaving them ninety nine per cent of stolen cars have had the keys left in them says sheriff dahlquist its an invitation to any person wanting to borrow a car |
