Show seen and heard on main street all we see on the street this week is the wrecker pushing or pulling stalled cars or some friendly car owner helping another r in distress I 1 very few busses passing through i even the occasional train croaks with protest against the cold as it lumbers on ever hear a train whistle when its below zero listen next time but despite the intense cold we here have much to be thankful for with our warm homes and warm business houses comes a cheery little note from L H durrant in salt lake city enjoy enjoy reading the paper very much and learn of my old friends and wish them new years greetings also to the publisher and office staff thanks L H and same to you another note pleased to see will robinsons picture in the paper etc we get these nice little words of appreciation quite often very few callers in the office this week folks just hurry by muffled up to the eyebrows sure had the women guessing in this column last week trying to figure out who all were wearing diamonds girls please leave the gloves and mittens at home for a while arid and be sure and point to the deer on the hillside with the left hand all the bettys please stand notified happy new year |
