Show wide program scheduled for SUP encampment july 31 men from all parts of the state who are arc descendants of pioneers who came to etab before the coming of the railroad may 10 will gather satur saturday ay july 31 at logan for the an annual ual encampment of the sons of utah ah pioneers each a SUP chapt h a pt r will send delegates abin gabe s and affe aeterna 1 n a es and all SUP members in good standing are in invited to attend legislation will be held at the lo 10 an tabernacle at 11 am followed ty ly a noon luncheon at the bluebird cafe for SUP members and their wives state officers for the coming year will be elected at a business meeting to be held at 1 pm in in the basement A kofl the tabernacle other items of business in relation to the 1918 41 19 year will be discussed under the direction of the state president rulon S draney ogden at 3 pm delegates visitors and members of the SUP chapters will tour northern cache valley visiting the california packing ca canning factory at smithfield and the largest swiss cheese factor factory y in the world at Ar amalfa nalga A banquet for members visitors and their wives will be held at 7 pm in the cafeteria in the home economics building on the college hill A pioneer dance review in the logan senior high school gymnasium is scheduled tor for 9 pm there will be old fashioned dances by the logan old time dance club the caa cache valley square dancers and dance clubs from ogden brigham city and preston A feature of the program will be a dance demonstration by the sixth grade students under direction of william allen alien who has recently returned from a national physical education convention at kansas city kan at pm state wards will be given for the winners of the statewide pioneer stories contests they will be presented by judge advocate P leroy nelson ogden who had charge of the contest the public lic is invited to the dance review review and the presentations |
