Show JOHN WHEATON john wesley wheaton SO 80 a life t time ime resident of coalville Co alville died at his home here monday following follo la lingerin ing illness of many months duration he was born january 16 1865 a son of henry and sophia williams wheaton WA eaton for a number of years he was an engineer on the union pacific railroad after leaving the railroad he was employed for several years at the wasatch mine as a stationary engineer right up to the time he took sick wes always found work to do mr wheaton never married one might say he was a recluse ills his formal education was limited to a bit of the three Rs nevertheless from observation experience and reading Z he gained a wide and comprehensive e knowledge of the world ot of affairs quietly he went through life only those who knew him best knew his many and varied capabilities he made his home with his sister in law mrs emma wheaton and family I 1 to these fine folk he was a kindly foster father their welfare his one concern he Is also survived by two sisters mrs loretta W okeefe and mrs may may W ackerman both of ogden funeral services tire are being conducted today at the stake house with bishop A S gardner in charge entombment tomb ment will be made at the aalto rest mausoleum at ogden summit county bee |
