Show 1938 FISHING proclamation WHEREAS it has become advisable to permit fishing in certain of the streams lakes and reservoirs of the state of utah prior to june 15 1938 NOW THE THEREFORE 1 I newell B cook fish and game commissioner of the state of utah by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 0 7 revised laws of utah 1933 do hereby proclaim and declare that all streams lakes and reservoirs of the state of utah below the altitude of seven thousand feet except as herein below otherwise provided shall be and are here by proclaimed and declared opened to fishing commencing at 4 a in sunday may 29 1938 provided that any lakes reservoirs or streams above the altitude of seven exceptions except lons shall open and close in accordance with section 30 0 33 revised laws of utah 1933 unless otherwise proclaimed by the commissioner i exceptions i the following ex exceptions shall toe be in III effect in the state of utah during the year 1938 MORGAN COUNTY the following streams in morgan county shall remain closed during I 1 the entire year of 1938 stoddard slough form the stoddard mllton milton road to its source and francis creek from its junction with lost last creek to its source SUMMIT COUNTY beaver creek and its tributaries tributa ries and smith and morehouse stream up to the dam shall be opened on may 29 regardless of the fact that saad streams are above feet in elevation smith and morehouse dam and the stream above said dam shall remain closed until july 1 all of the weber river and its tributaries tributa ries above its junction with smith and morehouse shall be closed until july 1 all other lakes and streams above an altitude of feet in the uintah mountains in summit county shall remain closed until july 1 1938 the following waters in summit county shall ahall remain closed the entire year of 1938 heiner greek creek the echo dam for a distance of two hundred and fifty beards above the intake or tria the spill apul way and from the needle valve of the dam down stream an approximate distance of 30 0 yards to a point where said stream joins the old river bed the weber river from fifty feet above the crest of the weber provo canal diversion dam to td the first county road and bridge blow below the dam an approximate distance of yards |
