Show doing excellent work on richville range waldron morgan president j B richville range land and the livestock of co announces the signing this week of a cooperative agreement e t with the weber river project for extensive dem demonstration 0 ri soil and water conservation work on the richville range the agreement calls for improved flyg fly year range manage management meat practices practice and the development of all range resources the range company will furnish all materials for the project and the work will be done by a government work crew directed by technicians range development work which the service expects to complete by uly july 1 include miles of boundary fence to exclude tres spass of livestock one mile of drift fence to improve stock distribution an el estrie fence to protect 50 acres of re seeding and the development of five springs to facilitate stock distribution trib ution brush and rock check dams and head cut drops will be constructed in the larger gullies and the most severely gullied areas WW be planted to trees and shrubs or re ese seeded eded to grass planted and re seeded gullies will be fenced to exclude eude livestock the signing of the richville ra range n ge agreement means that conservation measures will be applied on the entire deep creek watershed and adjacent tributaries tributa ries of east canyon creek this program Is elpe expected isted to help materially in contrell con controlling troll ing the high water and silt movement which in years past has flooded and deposited silt and debris on valuable morgan valley farm lands the richville neighborhood is planning a barbecue and social to celebrate the start of their range improvement work |
