Show DEARS BEARS CHRISTMAS DOLL by helen gansford Gals ford waterman EAR was really too big to DEAR D play with dolls yet when she said that all she wanted for christmas was a really nice doll of course mama and everyone gave in people always were nice to dear probably because dear was so nice that was why everyone called for ber dear instead of by name such a doll on christmas morning with real eyelashes and long curls it could walk talk and I 1 sleep and it had a wh whole ole truck of lovely dresses and shoes and a little fur coat dear dashed down to see sea it first thing christmas morning and then when breakfast was over she got her wraps dres dressed sed the doll in its fur coat and set out with its trunk under one arm and it in the other ashes so proud she has to show it to her friends smiled mama but when dear returned she ha had d neither doll or trunk why dear said mama wheres your doll 1 I gave it away dear an 1 I do ho hope pe you wont 4 mind you see I 1 knew a little girl who had never had a doll in her whole life and I 1 wanted so to give her one on christmas but dear why you say so we could have bought one that would have been good enough and you could have kept yours why mama dear explained pla ined it had to be just the nicest doll ever to be fun and oh mama arna she cried her fa face cebea beam rn ML wi with happiness hp did id you ever 6 k see a poor little girl with her first lov lovely ely cl christmas present f D western Ve tern newspaper union |
