Show R BOYS INJURED i IN HEADON HEAD ON COLLISION reed ford and herman of henefer were victims of an automobile accident L labor day that came near being the he finish for the boys it was a i headon head on collision with a transport ruck owned by the L S simmons co on its east bound trip ford received the big bi end of the ilits 39 stitches being required ired clerman lerr nan dearden received a cut on oil he head that required 18 sti stitches aches and reed injuries required 18 stitches and in addition a badly injured arm all of them received other painful cuts and bruises the car which the boys were driving was completely demolished the truck we are informed turned in to keep from hitting a horse and in doing so was so tar far over on the wrong side of the road that the driver did not have time to get back to his side before striking the car the latter having no room to pass herman dearden and ford were thrown through h the windshield from the compact com compact palt the truck was east bound and the boys were to como at morgan moman the accident oc curing on the main highway a few miles west of henefer they were taken to the dee hospital at ogden for treatment and it is stated that reed and herman dearden are reported as coming out of it satisfactorily but ford will be required to remain in the hospital as his condition at the time this artic article lf is written is announced as quite critical mr and mrs wallace clark celebrated their silver wedding anniversary last sunday A party was given in their honor monday evening by their daughters in which about twenty close friends and tel rel atiles participated A most enjoy 1 able time is reported by all present |
