| Show DAIRY HERD improvement association ORGANIZED L lyman H rich extension da dairyman ary spent last thursday in morgan county working with county agent C R richards on the county dairy program part of the work accomplished was to arrange for some cow testing to be done during the next year A testing association known as a dairy herd herd improvement pro association Is being I 1 n g 0 organized r ati to include dairl dairymen e n in n four counties box elder weber morgan and davis A tester will be employed full time by this association to weigh and test milk samples and provide a complete record for each dairyman in the association mr richards states that the present plan will provide at least two days work during the month for the tester and will include six or eight dairy herds a number of the dairymen attended a meeting at ogden on tuesday evening where the organization was perfected dairymen realize the importance of records and mr richards states that no doubt many other dairymen w will ill find methods of testing cows for butterfat production |
