Show FORMER HOTTS VILLE RESIDENT HAS NARROW ESCAPE mrs M H lee a well known and well loved native of summit county and until of late years a resident of hoytsville experienced a very close call to sudden death while traveling by bus in the pacific north i west t mrs lee was from the home of a daughter mrs eugene ralph of clarks fork idaho to spend christmas with her son lt F W lee at camp lewis washington when the accident occurred A large hemlock tree 45 feet long iona and 18 inches in diameter tell fell across the bus killick three men upon the upper deck and critically injuring a woman the crash occurred in the dark of early morning mrs lee was riden riding in a rear seat of the lower deck ad and though that section of the car was completely shattered she was miraculously uninjured other than slight nervous shock her many friends here will he be very thankful to hear of her escape |
