Show FORMER RESIDENT RESIDE Nr LAID TO REST IN COALVILLE funeral services were conducted in the tabernacle in Co coalville alville monday afternoon for archibald bu chaibi 70 a coal mine employee of winton wyoming and former resident of Co alville who was instantly killed by a fall of coal in th the emine mine last thursday A large concourse of friends and relatives were present at the last sad rites to pay their respects to the departed the following was the order of the services song by the choir opening prayer by W reber wilde speakers george beard and james walton violin solo bernice beinke salmon remarks by pres pies 0 W stephens solo by judith beard closing song by choir benediction by G F wilde interment waz was in the Co coalville alville cemetery and the grave was dedicated by J W lamb mr buchanan a track layer for the union pacific mine at winton was laying track at the time of the accident when several ton of coal fell from the roof ailing him instantly he is the thard member of his family to be killed in mine acel accidents denta one son john was killed in the cumberland erland mine and an other son archie died about a year ago from injuries received in the grass creek mine mr buchanan was born in springfield ift fl on november 10 1861 a son of archibald and elizabeth briggs buchanan he came across the plains to utah with his parents traveling by ox team and settled at bountiful when he was 19 year old the family moved to co coalville alville and on may 26 1883 he was married to miss emma ebuna ch chip chap ap pell and to this union twelve children were born in 1911 they moved to wyoming where they resided until theotime the time of his death he is survived by his widow and six children mrs emma daniels mrs ireni miller frank buchanan P percy crey buchanan mrs lucile eyre and mrs afton tolman 21 grand children and 4 great grand children three sisters mrs nettle nettie marshall and miss elizabeth and miss mary buchanan of salt lake |
