| Show Oct 28 Mishap Near Temple Injures Woman An auto attempting to pass another car then ithen cutting back because of an oncoming car was the cause of an auto accident accident accident acci acci- dent last Thursday about 2 pm p.m. on Highway 89 near the Manti ManU Temple The accident occurred when Mrs Glen Carolyn Johnson was traveling south planning to make a left turn onto First East Street in Manti Mrs Johnson was wlas signalling that she intended to make the left turn Prior to making the turn Mrs Johnson checked in her mirror and saw that that that-a a vehicle was coming up behind her too toof f fast st for her to make the turn so she kept traveling on Highway Highway Highway High High- way 89 The car behind Mrs Johnsons Johnson's Johnson's Johnsons Johnsons Johnson's John John- sons son's auto driven by Mrs Delt Delta Delta Del Del- t ta N. N Nielsen of Fairview attempted at oat- attempted tempted to pass Mrs Johnson When she was part way past the Johnson vehicle she saw another car coming toward her herand herand herand and so she decided to cut back and as she did she hit the left rear of the Johnson car The couple in the oncoming car followed Mrs Nielsen as she left deft the scene of the accident accident accident acci acci- dent taking down her license number for law officers This couple was from Murray Mrs Johnson driving their 1963 Pontiac Ponti-ac wa was accompanied by their two children Wade 2 and Lauren 1 They were both sitting in the back seat and were knocked to the floor and were shaken up but apparently not seriously serious serious- ly hurt Mrs Johnson has complained complained complained com com- of back pains and headaches since the mishap She was taken to the hospital for a checkup Mrs Nielsen was driving a 1960 Chevrolet The Johnsons may have to get another car because of the possibility that the car frame may have been sprung If the frame is found to be sprung then the damage damage damage dam dam- age estimate will be raised from the first to estimate |
