| Show REUNIONS The Jessen reunion was held in Manti on Sunday Sept 19 It was scheduled for ithe the Manti ManU City Park but had to be moved to the Legion Hall due to the weather The families of Ebbe and andEl andEl andEl El Norah Hansen Jessen were all represented except Mrs I. I M M. Ludene Price of Seattle Seattle Seattle Se Se- attle Wash Washy and Thayne Brooks family The social started at pm p.m. The opening prayer was given by Eddie Jessen Jr of Salt Lake City The group then sang Love At Home led by Mrs Phil Lucy Lowry and accompanied by Colleen Jessen of Salt Lake About 70 members enjoyed a dinner and reviewing genealogy genealogy genea genea- logy they had worked on Lee LeeBarton LeeBarton LeeBarton Barton gave a history and tribute tribute tribute trib trib- ute to the parents his grandparents g grandparents grand grand- and parents Mr and Mrs Ebbe Jessen It was a recording under under un un- un der the dhe supervision of Douglas Barton They also enjoyed a record of the Battle Hymn of the Republic sung by the Salt Lake Tabernacle Choir Each family was represented in a program Russell Barton rendered a piano solo Janice Barton a piano solo Linda and Cathryn gave a vocal vo- vo vocal vocal vo vo- cal duet They were accompanied accompanied by their mother Virginia Virginia Virginia Vir Vir- ginia Mary Ruth Barton served as accompanist for John Dianne and Rebecca Barton a vocal trio Colleen Jessen accompanied Lucy Jessen Jessen Jessen Jes Jes- Jes- Jes sen Lowrys Lowry's two children Richard Richard Rich Rich- ard and Steven Lowry in a vocal duet She also accompanied accompanied Eddie Jessen's family Vicky Craig Randy Julie and Jimmy in group singing A piano duet was played by Lois Childs two daughters from Spanish Fork A reading wa was given by Mrs Carol Andersons Anderson's daughter Sherry from Gunnison The two daughters of LeRoy Childs Jr performed tap dances New officers were elected for the coming year They are Hazel J. J Barton President Mrs Elroy Jessen vice president president president dent Lucy Ann Jessen Lowry secretary treasurer Mrs B. B B Y Mozella Peterson of Salina and Mrs Elwood Lois Mick- Mick elson of Spanish Fork were selected as the genealogical committee Last years year's officers were given a vote of thanks for their work in getting family group sheets coordinated The officers were Ed Jessen p president president esi dent Elroy Jessen vice president president president dent Carol Anderson secretary secretary secretary secre secre- tary and Hazel J J.
