W Second North Manti is attending attending attending at at- tending a summer institute at Wisconsin State University at River Falls Wise from July 12 to Aug 6 6 Mr Wheeler is a high school instructor of vocational agriculture agriculture agri agri- culture and biology at the Manti High School The University conducted an identical institute June 14 to July 9 The institutes deal with basic principles of biology and genetics and their application to the agricultural sciences To be eligible for the Institute institute tute a participant must have taught at least two years and must be teaching agriculture and at least one class in mathematics mathematics mathematics math math- or science Courses offered are Basic Biology Principles plant ecology ecology eco logy and genetics and Applied biology principles crop ecology ecology ecology eco eco- logy and genetics Six quarter hours of credit may be earned in the institute and graduate credit may be obtained at River Falls for courses consistent with the academic goals of the student Housing for the students is provided in residence halls of the University and meals are served in the student center A recreational program has been planned for participants and their families dIrectors Co of the institute are Dr Richard Delorit academic academic aca aca- demic vice president and Dr James Dollahon dean of the College of Agriculture at River Falls r 11 F x r A AI AA Ar A I i ii i r a EARL J.
