Show Bertha Larsen Manti Native Dies in Bountiful Mrs Bertha Bessey Larsen 76 native of Manti and for many years a resident of Ephraim Ephraim Ephraim Eph- Eph raim died in a Bountiful hospital hospital hos hos- hos pital early Sunday of natural causes She had become ill about three years ago and a few weeks later suffered a stroke from which she never fully recovered She was however however however how how- ever able to be about and largely care for herself but could not live alone She had been hospitalized only a few days prior to her death She was born June 30 1888 1838 in Manti daughter of Walter WaIter and Mary L. L Bessey She was married to C. C Rudolph Larsen Larsen Lar Lar- sen Aug 11 1909 1009 in Manti and the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Tem Tem- He died Feb 28 1955 The family lived at Chester from 1919 to 1929 then moved to Ephraim where the family home has been since Mrs Larsen was active in Relief So Society work and she and her husband were custodians of the Ephraim North Ward Chapel for several years She is survived by two sons and four daughters R R.
