L Payne President Ray B. B McKinnon officiated Following the impressive ceremony the newlyweds were honored at a wedding dinner at the home of the brides bride's parents Mr and Mrs Lloyd B. B Johnson The bridegroom is the son of Mr and Mrs Horace E. E Payne of Idaho A recep reception ion was held that evening in the Manti North Ward chapel honoring the young couple The bride was very beautiful in a white nylon over taffeta floor length dress It was designed with pearls and sequins and a sweetheart neckline She wore a veil of nylon net caught to toa a white rose She carried a bouquet of pink mums Attending the bride were Miss Karen Ann Johnson sister sister sis sis- ter of the bride Mrs Grant Johnson sister law of the bride and Miss Reva Hatch They wore pink gowns and carried bouquets of white car car- nations Best man was Monte Gibson with Mr and Mrs Forrest n standing for parents of the groom Ushers were Grant Dean Paul and Ray Johnson brothers of the bride The brides bride's mother wore an apr apricot cot sheath gown with matching corsage of mums Mrs wore a two- two piece rose gown with matching match match- matching ing corsage of mums The room was decorated with large baskets of pink red and white peonies Soft music played in the back back- ground After a wedding trip into Idaho and Oregon and along the coast the couple will make their home in Salt Lake City |
