M A A. A In 1925 He attended the University of ot Maryland and was awarded his Ph D D. D in 1945 He taught at Box Elder High School from 1925 50 1930 and was extension and acting dean of the tol oI lege of Agriculture He was appointed director of ot the Extension Service In 1948 a post he held until retirement in 1949 In 1949 he was appointed appointed appointed ap ap- ap- ap pointed director emeritus of the Extension Service and director director director dir dir- ector of the summer school program in 1960 He was serving as director of the Department of ot Institutional Institutional Institutional Studies at the time of his death Dr was an ac active active active ac- ac tive member of the Church and had served In the bishopric of ot the Logan Fifth LAS Ward and as a me member of ot the high council of the Cache Stake He w was was a member of ot Rotary Club Cache County Chamber of ot Commerce and the Utah Farm Bureau Federation In 1957 he was awarded the Utah Medical Award of Merit and the U U.
