E Anderson former Manti resident has resigned his position as superintendent of the he Juab School District to ac accept accept accept ac- ac a position ass as as supervisor of Seminary trainees at t the h e Brigham Young University it has hns las just been announced A native of Ephraim Mr Anderson Anderson Anderson An An- derson graduated from S Snow n now o w College and then obtained his bachelor and master degrees from rom the University of Utah He lie was principal of the elementary school at Honeyville Boxelder County for three years and for forone forone forone one year headed the Hiawatha Junior High School and was a n teacher in the Boxelder High School at Brigham City He filled a mission in the Southern States and was principal of the church school in Kelsey Texas while there lie He was a seminary principal for a few years before becoming becoming becom- becom ing ng superintendent of schools in n South Sanpete in 1937 a po position position position po- po he held for 14 years He moved to N Nephi three years ago agoo agoto agoto to o become superintendent of Juab schools He lie was president of the South Sanpete Stake and then served as a high councilman Pe Pc had also been stake Sunday School superintendent and had taught in n many auxiliary organizations in ill n Utah and California Active in civic affairs he has been commander of the Manti ManU American Legion Post and also of District Six of the American Legion and was chaplain for forthe forthe the he Utah American Legion He Helas has las been active in Lions and Kiwanis clubs and also in garden garden garden gar gar- den and flower clubs His wife is the former Blanche Hunsaker of Honeyville and they are the parents of six children n |
