I 29 Mt Pleasant Pleasant Pleasant Pleas Pleas- ant former operator of Dutch's Cafe in Manti died Friday afternoon afternoon afternoon after after- noon when shot by a 30 rifle while working in a room at his parents parents' home in Mt Pleasant Dleasant He was found dead from a head wound after his parents Mr and Mrs Irvin I. W K Peterson Mt Pleasant Sanpete County deputy sheriff who investigated the fatal accident Death was instantaneous Mr Peterson said Mr was born in Mt H Pleasant June 21 1920 He attended at attended attended at- at tended Mt 1 Pleasant schools and was graduated from the Wasatch Academy He entered the service with the Utah National Guard during during dur dur- ing World War Var II and was a mess sergeant at Fort Sill Oklahoma when discharged in 1946 After leaving the the service he en entered entered entered en- en the cafe caCe business in Manti with his law in L. L H. H Beck Later they moved to Mt Pleasant to continue the same business which was known as ns Dutch's Cafe in both places x Survivors include his parents his lis widow the former Lois D. D Beck and a daughter Bonnie Jo Stans- Stans field all of Mt 1 Pleasant and the following brothers and sisters Ned Mrs Betty S. S Barney Miss Joyce all of Mt Pleasant and Gordon Los os Angeles Funeral services were held and burial jurial took place at Mt Pleasant the first of the week |
