Show f r Industrialist Named for Honorary Degree A prominent central Utah industrialist who began his multi-million multi dollar business almost from scratch In a vacant Ephraim building 13 years ago will receive an honorary degree at Snow College commencement exercises Friday morning at 10 in the Ephraim West Ward chapel Snow president Floyd S S. S Holm will award an honorary associate degree in community development to Harry Mosher founder of L M Trailer Manufacturing Manufacturing Manu Manu- Co during the exercises Mr Mosher began the firm In Ina ina ina a vacant canning plant in 1960 During the first cold winter in inthe inthe inthe the building he and two or three employees set up an assembly line and built buill the first trailer In the years since the business which Mr Mosher now serves as president and general manager has had a steady growth It now has about employees and an annual payroll in excess of 2 million It occupies a new plant has diversified its production to in include include include in- in clude mobile homes and has marketing outlets in a number of states Mr Mosher has cooperated with Ephraim city in the development of water delivery and sewage delivery and treatment treatment treatment treat treat- ment systems In 1964 he received the lOth annual Distinguished Service Award for Industrial Achievement Achievement Achievement Achieve Achieve- ment in Utah from the Utah Committee on Industrial and Employment Planning and the Utah Industrial Promotion Commission and the Small Businessman of the Year award In 1967 |
