years ears ago the work schedule of these two newspapers newspapers newspapers news news- papers required us to change our way of living Instead of going to bed each night at a comfortable 10 pm p.m. we discovered that there were a couple of nights each week that we didn't even get to touch the pillows on our bed This old routine drug on for several years until we were so tired and exhausted that I actually took a few winks on the job You dont don't believe it Ask Elliott Braithwaite He almost caught me in one of my siestas This episode took place In 1964 when setting the type for the Ephraim at the copy again Elliott looked a little puzzled at the fact that I had been restored so fast This incident made me realize realize realize real real- ize that taking naps in public might cause people to talk talk so I decided to make some changes in our operation AA I found some opposition In my changes mostly from myse myself If but finally I did didget didget get things arranged so that I could snooze a couple of hours at home on Thursday night I still stayed up all aU night on Wednesday About four years ago we de decided decided decided de- de that some additional alterations al alterations alterations al- al had to be made because be because because be- be cause we were getting old fast and the rut was getting deeper and deeper We plunged into a new process process process pro pro- cess of printing and changed the Enterprise to a Thursday paper Instead of a Friday edition edi edi- tion This change made it so that we now slept on Thursday night but our situation on Tuesday noon so that we can start pasting up the pages earlier and speed up the whole operation We will still be happy to help out in the case of a death or serious emergency but otherwise we plan to get the show on the road earlier The past two Wednesdays our new plan has worked very well so good in fact that we have been through printing the papers by Wednesday evening evening evening eve eve-
