Show Manti woman buried Monday Funeral services were held Monday October 4 at 1 pm p.m. In the Manti ManU North Ward Chapel for Elda Christensen Frisch- Frisch knecht news correspondent civic and church worker 76 who died Friday morning Oc October October October Oc- Oc tober 1 at the McKay-Dee McKay Hospital Hospital Hospital Hos Hos- pital In Ogden of natural causes She was born In Sterling Utah on September 4 1895 a daughter of Niels C C. C and Hannah Hannah Hannah Han Han- nah Bunderson Christensen She attended schools in Sterling and moved with her parents to Manti ManU in 1910 in order to attend high school She graduated from Manti ManU High School in the class of 1914 On December 22 1915 she mar married r led Wilford George in the Manti ManU LE La Temple They celebrated their golden wedding ann anniversary in 1965 Mrs served as the Manti ManU correspondent for tor the Deseret News for over 20 years She was the Sanpete Sevier District Mother of the Year for 1966 Mrs was an active ac active active ac- ac tive member of the Manti North Ward Upon moving to Manti ManU she was immediately appointed ward and stake secretary of the Primary organization where she served for lor eight years Later she served as ward Primary Primary Primary mary president and Primary teacher She served In the Primary Primary Primary mary for tor over 30 years She was president of the Relief Society Society Society So So- for three years the theological theological theological theo theo- logical class leader for eight years as well as a visiting teacher and instructor of the visiting teachers She also worked In the Sunday School and In the Y She was an ordinance worker in the Manti ManU Temple for lor nine years She has been secretary and president in both the Manti ManU Ladies Literary Club and the Hopeless Club She has also held offices in the Red Cross PT PTA A and DUP She supported her husband in his many and varied civic government and religious activities including city councilman mayor school schoolteacher schoolteacher schoolteacher teacher and church worker Survivors Include her husband husband husband hus hus- band Manti Mantl the following sons and daughter Nell Neil C.
