Show Manti Monti council adopts mill 23 tax levy lever The mill levy for this years year's taxes was one of ot the main topics of ot discussion by the ManU Mantl City Council at Its last regular busIness business business bus bus- iness session held Wednesday evening July 21 After scanning the programs projected for tor the coming year the city fathers decided to retain re retain retain re- re tain the same levy used during the past few tew years 23 mills The council also probed some of ot the problems that the city is encountering In erecting the power lines through the middle of the blocks In the southeast section of ot the city A report on Jets reservoir pointed out that the collection ditches have been washing out It lt was noted that the water has now been turned over to Ferron as per agreement It was felt that the city should make every effort to see that the collection ditches are in good shape for next year It was also reported that problems are being encountered at the city dump The report stated that persons are Ignoring the signs that tell them to dump their garbage over the bank and that no unauthorized fires should be started It was stated slated that the fires could pose a real danger If It one of ot them was to get Into the dry brush and grass surrounding the dump The road work for the summer summer summer sum sum- mer was discussed by the coun cil cU It was noted that the county road crews should be in ManU Mantl in the near future for two or three days of ot seal coating work It was reported that the streets that will receive the seal coating work have been mapped out Mayor Leslie J.
