B Jacobsen of San Diego Calif spent the past week in Manti ManU visiting at atthe atthe atthe the homes of Mr and Mrs Perry Eliason and Mr and Mrs Jackson Jackson Jackson Jack Jack- son Wan lass Larry and Berdine Morley and three children of Centerville came for the weekend visiting at t the home of Larrys Larry's parents Mr and Mrs Max Hansen An open house was held Sunday Sunday Sunday Sun Sun- day Oct at the home of Mrs Florrie Richman in honor honorof of her birthday town Out-of-town guests included Mrs Elmer Andreason Andreason Andreason An- An dreason and daughter Mr and Mrs Robert Rowley and one child and Barbara Jones of Salt Lake City Mrs Norman Sego and baby Granger Mrs Kendall Kendall Kendall Ken Ken- dall Hansen Elsinore Mr and Mrs Gene Hiatt and five children children chil chit dren Gunnison Mr and Mrs Howard Jones and two sons and Mrs Ridell Peacock Richfield Friends and neighbors in Manti ManU were also in attendance Preceding the open house a family dinner was served to approximately approximately approximately ap ap- ap- ap proximately 30 guests at the home of Mr and Mrs Gene Hiatt in Gunnison On Oct and Mrs Edda Cox represented Sanpete County at the Western Vestern States March of Dimes convention in Phoenix Arizona She was accompanied accompanied accompanied ac ac- ac- ac companied by her husband Lynn and his parents Mr and Mrs Ross Cox The trip proved to be a very enjoyable one and the group visited the Mesa Temple Temple Temple Tem Tem- and other points of interest before returning home Oliver Field of Fountain Green also represented Sanpete County atthe at atthe atthe the convention Mr and Mrs Clement Johnson of Monticello visited Monday in Manti with friends and relatives They will be remembered as recent recent recent re re- re- re cent residents of this area Mr Johnson is now recovering from eye surgery Mr and Mrs B Brazee razee Hawkins of San Diego are guests in the home of Mr and Mrs Don Pen- Pen rod Th Th y are the parents of Mrs Penrod The Nielson cabin was th the scene of a record crowd of 22 over the weekend of the hunt Besides the brothers Lynn and John Henrie and their guests Stan Simmons Mike Davidson Roger Cook and his father there were the Billy Duncan family and guest Paul Arnold from Las Vegas and the Albert Peterson family from Salt Lake City and Eve Nielson from Provo Those who do not hunt enjoy an annual camp and hike in the mountains for bagging a deer is only one item on these trips The group saw many deer and were fortunate in filling half of the 16 licenses Among the many weekend visitors to the Manti ManU North Ward Vard were Mr and Mrs Alan Swenson and Mr and Mrs Paul Johnson from Provo Steven Johnson Spanish Fork Mr and Mrs Frederick Lowry Mr and Mrs Charles Sanderson Salt Lake Mr and Mrs Lamont Lament Christensen and family Grantsville Grantsville Grantsville Grants- Grants ville Merrill Snow Bountiful Mr and Mrs Dan Keller Price Mr and Mrs Hal Draper Kaysville Kaysville Kays- Kays ville yule Mr and Mrs Dan Corcoran Corcor Corcor- an Las Vegas and Mr and Mrs Roger Cook of Provo |
