Show rv 0 v SO EASY TO OVERLOOK During During- Sanpete's very successful Fair Fail last week end the public address announcer was handing handing- out bouquets to some of themen themen the themen men and women who had done a great amount of work on the Fair As he spoke he missed one very prominent worker completely completely completely com com- and this man turned to a neighbor to say Its a good thing thing- I dont don't get my feelings feeling's hurt easily I think I have done doneas as much or more work on this Fair as any of those the announcer has mentioned And it is a good thing that the general run of folks dont don't get their feelings hurt over a slight when the bouquets are handed out To any who feel they were overlooked for their efforts at the Fair we would say Okay you get up and give just credit to all who worked on the Fair V Would they remember Bruce Jennings who led a sales force which sold almost aids ads d for the Fair Book making it the l largest I Fair Iau au Book Boole in our memory V Would they remember remember remember re re- member Elmer Nielson and the members of his committee which planned such an outstanding outstanding outstanding out out- standing parade Would they remember to thank the Relief Societies for their work in collecting b and displaying exhibits Would our touchy friends be though thoughtful enough to remember Margaret Anderson Jackson r and the folks who kept records handed out ribbons and premiums V Would they be sure sure to thank Ken en Keller and Jennis Allred for their many hours of work in preparing and managing the exhibition buildings Would Jennis and Jack Vesten Westen- skow be remembered for their efforts on the Cutting Horse I exhibitions the Horse Show and the Rodeo Are the critical ones sure they would remember to thank Clarence Peterson eterson and th the Lions Club members who ho handled ticket sales And would they hand out a word of thanks to the Gunnison committee Austin Anderson and crew for planning and g getting out a fine Rodeo Program Would each special guest and honored visitor be recognized recognized recognized properly before the Fair crowd Vell Well stop here after just scratching the surface but we could go on and on and still miss some of the top Fair workers and guests who might have been completely overlooked by all public recognition If any of us were missed or sligh slighted ted lets let's just mark it down as being humanly impossible to remember each and every p pers per person per per- erp erson er- er s son n who is in line for a word of praise or recognition for their part in a very outstanding outstanding out out- standing Fair |
