M Barton ManU Manti recently recently re recently re- re returned from the 1961 Utah Conservation Camp at Tony Grove Forestry Camp in Logan Canyon The camp held August 6 12 was sponsored by bythe bythe bythe the state soil conservation districts districts districts dis dis- and the Utah State Uni Uni- University University with the cooperation of the Forest Service and the Utah State Department of ofFish ofFish ofFish Fish and Game Purpose of the camp is to train young men for leadership leadership leadership leader leader- ship roles and give them background background background back back- ground for range management and conservation problems Mr 1 Barton was one one of 36 youths between 15 and 18 years of age representing the various soil conservation districts districts districts dis dis- throughout the state He camped with the other delegates in barracks at the Tony Grove area for a week of conservation study |
