Show Report o on Boys State t i I IAo o oO nv 7 I II I I I I v le K Y I 7 Kimball Mellor I son of Mr Mrs 1 Lee Mellor We Ve arrived at Boys State at 1043 1045 Saturday July 11 11 After checking In we were vere assigned to our cities and counties After this we spent the rest of the day getting getting getting get get- ting acquainted with the camp and the other 61 boys in our city The first day ended at 1030 with taps Sunday morning the regular routine started at with the bugle call and then breakfast After breakfast we had lectures by prominent men of Utah until noon After dinner we had sports until supper then had one lecture and a movie At 1030 lights out but that's when most of the fun started Pillow and water-filled water balloon fights were only a n few of the activities until midnight or after We Ve were favored by lectures on various government departments by such leading citizens as Mayor Beckstead o 0 of f MIdvale l Justice Henri Henroid of the Supreme Court of Utah On Saturday we were favored by remarks from Governor George D.
