Show Pioneer Buried I At Manti Carl Evirt Jensen 89 80 was buried in the Manti ManU City cemetery tery last Saturday with graveside graveside graveside grave grave- side services being conducted here by Bishop Claude Braithwaite Braith- Braith waite The services were well attended with Bishop Farrel Funk of Sterling offering the opening prayer Roy D. D Mellor giving a fine sermon and Ray P P. Lund und dedicating the grave Mr Jensen was born in Denmark Denmark Den Den- Den I mark on April 6 1863 a son of Louis and Christina Roth Jensen Jen Jen- sen The family came to America America America Am Am- erica in 1866 and his father died crossing the plains His mother and her four small children settled settled settled set set- in m Manti ManU where Mr Jensen Jensen Jensen Jen Jen- sen was a farmer and active chuch chuck worker for many years He married Josephine Marx in Manti lanti March 5 1885 and she died March 16 1942 1 42 Of the six children born to them survivors survivors survivors sur sur- include two daughters and a son Mrs Frank Mildred Rowley Mrs Edgar Myrtle Petersen Petersen Pe- Pe and Clarence E E.
