TREES PL AT S as on wednesday a demonstration of planting windbreak trees was given at the dewey sanford farm by J whitney floyd of the IT U S A 0 three kinds of trees were planted eastern new cedar siberian elm and russian olive there were 1 trees planted furnished by the U S A C A number of persons at ten tended ded the demonstration and lunch was served mr floyd stated trees are need ed in this area to keep down th dry ing winds and the cold winter winds so damaging to livestock besides the value they have in beautifying the premises the are fur dished under the dark clark act with federal help in the tion and distribution the trees are furnished by the agricultural col lege at from lc 1 to 1 ah c each
