Show HIGH SCHOOL S HOOL OPERA WELL PRESENTED the D H S presented their op era the lass of limerick town on monday and tuesday nights of this week in the high school audi corium As tl it e title implies the scenes are laid in ireland with many tuneful irish songs each year the high school opera is one of the important features of the school program and they never tail fall to en bertain the audience and repay the students and faculty tor for their ef forts in production th a year the opera oper was somewhat more difficult dif ticul than had been attempted before but the students took their parts very well and were well rewarded with applause those taking principal parts were julia finlinson ruby alien allen har liar old he Heg gessey blame blaine sampson rhea elder ted gardner alvin jensen delelle hopkins keith kel rel ly eddie alien allen lem lovell thais wallace church and ron do jeffery the chorus was made up of thirty five students mr L S donus dorius directed th op era and music arrangements and was assisted by the other members of the acuity as follows dramatics miss durham dancing miss swen costumes miss olsen and the stage by mr mr rogers and miss christnsen james E works of the tri state lumber co paint edthe attractive back drops tor for the tage stage and special mention is due the or chestra tor for their fine performance the members were cleo whicker moyle dorlus dorius elvid ward killpack stewart stuck leonore hansen louise hansen carl jones hazel loell and catherine cox and they were very ably ases isted by miss laura liura mensel and G M wright of the hinckley high school |
