Show join jolin john moroni wright died at Is home in hinckley friday night fol lowing owing a cerebral cerebral he ile was seventy four years of age and had been ill tor for a week preceding his death mr air wright waa was born in mill creek january 21 1861 the son of joseph wright and mary ann fryer wright when he was a child a year 0 old id his father was called by brigham young to colonize in southern utah and that is where his life has been spent the family settled first in the vir gen river country living at duncan his ills father was an outstanding tig fig ure in the pioneers of that region dying when the son was about twelve jears ears of age leaving a wife and six children during the years the fam ily lived there they were among those who were ruined by the loss of everything when the river flooded out the surrounding farms mr wright was married in the at george temple june 16 1885 to emma hinton of virgen they liv ed at duncan until the spring of 1887 when they moved to hinck ley his mother and three brothers and ind two sisters also made hinckley their home that part of the coun try had been colonized also the vil lage being deseret as hinckley was not then settled there being only two farms across the river mr air wright built up a tine fine farm and assisted in the building up of the community he ile was a man of high principle courage and intern ty valued both as a friend and as a neighbor as well as a citizen his ills passing is mourned aff all who knew him he is survived by the following children wallace and spencer wright of delta joseph and ches ter wright hinckley mrs airs W william willfam taylor of abraham J W wright washington D C mrs airs willard christensen oak city mrs stephen crosby Suther aind mrs john ba ker deseret lanthus wright fill more and glade wright provo there are thirty four grandchildren and three brothers joseph wright of mill creek and frank and george Georgel wright of hinckley and one sister I 1 liss annie wright of hinckley ills wife died at hinckley in 1932 funeral services were held in hin c kley on sunday afternoon in the he L D a chapel the speakers were na than B badger hugh hilton and rulon hinckley musical numbers were given by the choir and also by 3 AT wright mrs allan baker and miss hendsel interment was in the hinckley cemetery |
