LIONS CLUB MEETING the wednesday evening meeting 41 of the delta lions club was devoted to a discussion of the road projects the lions have initiated lestel bamberger as guest of the club talked about the for a good road between delta and the coast he pointed out that utah Is the natural breadbasket tor for callton nia and said that three factors all working together will increase the demand of californians tor for utah products 1 the increase in lation 2 elimination of their own foods stuffs by using farm land for city use 3 trade in the future will undoubtedly be of vast proportions the I 1 ions have been working ora o 0 the roosevelt highway for two years and has reason to expect its ulti alti mate completion which will pro vide a coast to coast highway thru delta giving us outlets to both san francisco and los angeles
