Show 00 B 0 raw ec ron ly C arries superintendent goes to silt lake to 11 1 I ko ke negotiations the school bonds passed in the re cent election last saturday with majority throughout the county and work has been started to have them ready for sale of the 75 which was voted 47 wil go to refund a former bond which was overdue and could bof not be be paid on account of the bank closing in fillmore which je leaves ayes 27 to be sold and in a t brict sense s e this Is 27 is the oni 1 I Increase crease tin indebtedness against uh the e school board this 27 will be sold lo 10 the people and it Is expected that the Tem teachers chers will take about 10 of the bonds with the remaining 17 to be sold outright in the coun ty many people are asking about the bonds and are wishing to buy them ais s they feel they are excellent invest vl ments paying 6 per cent interest and to be paid oft off within five years the paying oft off of the bonds is ar ranged serially and 15 will be paid of each year so ithac at the end of five years the whole of the issue will be retired and the school board in n the clear much of the money us ad ed for retiring the ithe bonds is expected crom from the defunct state bank of mill ird ard county so that there will be no increase in taxes and the taxpayers will be relieved from making any heavy eavy payments on taxes the passing of this bond election will ill enable the schools of millard toi tol emain remain open until ate ferst week in lay may so that all of the students will be ie able to obtain the full term of eight months i |
