Show JOSHUA it IL COOK DIES former old time resident of del t ta joshua H coak cook died at his home in Spring springville ville at the age of seventy three he moved from delta about six years ago he had lived here f tor or many years as a sound well respect ed farmer with a good property and a man liked by all he had been a bishop at thurber for fifteen years in the early days here many a dance has depended upon his violin for its sole music he was horn born in nephi when a small boy his parents moved to dix ie to he ile married betsy M bybee in 1877 in the st george temple at berward they moved to thurber at which place be he was bishop of the ly man ward tor for fifteen years they moved to delta in 1909 his first wife died in 1923 and he then mar ned tied mra mrs emma jenkins who died last tall fall mr cook tilled filled a mission to the western states in 1892 he is survived by the following children mrs nora chapel lyman mrs francetta Pran cetta sampson mrs gene va pace mrs ardella riding mrs florence workman mrs tiddle jen kin mrs oliver miller jerome jeronie he her and william cook and seventy one grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren also by three sisters and one brother funeral services were held in pro vo and interment held in delta to day thursday from the home home of benjamin F sampson joshua cook was respected by all for his many tine fine stalwart qualities and his passing is regretted |
