Show FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR J IV KELLY funeral services sei vices held in fit the second ward chapel sunday april 30 for or john william kelly 66 of 2771 chadwick avenue salt lake city mr air kelly died in a salt lake hospital friday april as of ai antar lo sclerosis following an illness of only a week lie he was wag born in fillmore Fill Fil linore moro january 12 1873 a son of jolia john C and mary alary jane Al melville elville kelly lie ile spent his early life in fillmore farming and raising livestock and freighting at different times between tonopah and goldfield nev and bullfrog Dull frog utah during the mining development there ile he married ruby gibbs and moved with her to marysvale Marys vale where they made their home tor for several years and where here most of their children were born twenty five years ago they moved to salt lake all his life mr air kelly was interested in mining development lie ha kept close contact with his home town coming back frequently on business and to visit his brother and sisters here surviving are his widow a son soil john franklin kelly of ogden tour four daughters bits airs norene brignand of salt lake city mrs airs thelma ahibal deau dean of deer lodge mont mrs M rs fern nelson of Mon calif and mrs airs norma chapman of los angeles calif two brothers james A kelly and dan A kelly tour four sisters mrs airs mary alary cooper mrs erma mcbride mrs airs eleanor iverson and Ms als lavieve day of fillmore Fill Filli moie noie the services were conducted by bishop henry hatton who also offered the closing remarks the other speakers were wm win D melville J A melville and T dark clark callister the choir sang oh my father and beautiful isle of somewhere mr thomas sang a solo lay my head beneath a rose lie he on the piano by DX M belva day and on the violin by mrs airs olive partridge mrs stella day mrs nora davies and mrs dean davies sang the lord lod Is Is my shepherd and mrs airs olive partridge played a violin solo end of a perfect day miss misa belva day accompanied the last two numbers also the opening prayer was offered by F A robison the benediction was pronounced by frank 11 partridge and the grave was dedicated by bishop hatton the burial was in fit charge of the mortuary mis kelly the widow has been ill tor for over a month and was unable to come to the services those who came of the immediate family were frank kelly and his two sons and a daughter of ogden mrs airs of veer deer lodge mont mr air and mis george brignand Dri gnand of salt lake mrs airs fern nelson and little daughter of montebello calif one grandson jerry and mr air kermit kelly both of whom were living with the kellys mr E W kelly and mr air roland kelly mr harry green a very close friend and mr and mrs airs matson of salt lake city also several relatives and friends from marysvale Marys vale |
